Bug Description
Mousepad is a lightweight text editor, a dependency of the universe package XFCE for Ubuntu Hoary and Breezy.
When using it under Gnome, making a new file (either by ctrl-n or clicking the menu entry) does not open a new document.
Tested on Hoary ppc and Breezy x86.
