Bug Description
After upgrading from Kubuntu 9.10 to 10.04, The bootup/shutdown splash screen showed the purple Ubuntu logo instead of the blue Kubuntu logo (I do not have ubuntu/gnome desktop installed so this should not be the case). A bit of investigation showed I need to manually install plymouth-
