no slider in kmix tray icon after upgrade

Bug Description
After upgrade from Kubuntu9.10 to 10.04, clicking the KMix tray icon came up with an almost-empty popup - notably absent was the volume control, which had always been there before. I had to select the Master channel from the 'Select Master Channel...' menu option manually to return it. This should be left untouched, or at least set to 'Master' by default if there is indeed a good reason for the upgrade process to touch it...
