Bug Description
Hi,
With Inkscape, using the Group collapsing option doesn't work if Enable id stripping is not set.
Inkscape auto-generates id for each element in the document, which make this option a bit less unusable.
Could you add a comment in the help tab in order to explain that the Enable id stripping must be unset?
Thanks!

Do you mean "to explain that the Enable id stripping option must be set"?
If so, I can add this to the help tab, yes.
