Bug Description

I have a IBM/Lenovo z61t laptop, while suspend has always gone thought fine, suspend hasn't been working for about a month or so (it has worked fine earlier in the edgy cycle). Here are two cases if i resume within a minute or so everything will work just fine, no problems, but if I wait longer then 2 minutes a couple things happen:

1. It resumes and I get the gnome screen saver but I cannot type anything with my keyboard (for the password) and all keys are ignored.

  or

2. I get a busy cursor and it's busy for 15 seconds, looks something is happening, and then you can notice it doing a redraw and the busy cursor et. all repeats it self again forever.

Either one of these 2 cases makes it impossible for me to resume from sleep.

I'm not sure if it's a kernel issue or gnome-screensaver issue to be honest (but since it does wakeup I'm guessing it's gnome-screensaver'ish).

It's a core (1) duo machine, and no I'm not running compiz or anything of that sort.

I suspect that this is an X failure.
