Bug Description
Binary package hint: openoffice.org-gtk
Under gnome or xfce:
Start oocalc. (create a new document)
right-click one cell
click 'format cells'
click tab 'Cell Protection'
click 'Hide when printing' to make it checked
click OK-Button
mark the same cell plus a second (unchanged) one
right-click the marked cells
click 'format cells'
click tab 'Cell Protection'
Results:
Checkbox 'Hide when printing' looks like unchecked,
but should show state indifferent (meaning don't change anything).
Clicking 'Hide when printing' four times :
after 1st click showes state unchecked (nothing seems to change)
after 2nd click shows state checked
after 3rd click shows like unchecked
after 4rd click shows unchecked again
This is very confusing.
In the above case it leads to completely unusable printouts because the effects can be seen nowhere except in print-preview.
I found this problem too, when using an unchanged extra user and even when booting from a Desktop-6.06.1-CD.
When using kde all works as expected.
Additional comment:
I don't know why this was assigned to openoffice.
I'm using an Intel-CPU ! :-/
