Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

Hi,
This is a regression. With Jaunty 9.04 I could browse all functions of the Web Interface of WhatsUp. Now, many options like:

- Expanding Groups
- Clicking on Maps
etc

are no longer possible.

Can this be reviewed? Let me know what further information is required.

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. I tried to reproduce this bug on my system, but was unable to. Sometimes Firefox profiles can become corrupt and/or extensions can conflict. Could you please try this with a new profile and see if the problem still exists? You do not need to delete your old profile to test. If this helps, you might want to try to disable all your extensions and re-enable them one by one until you find the problematic one.

You can start the profile manager with the following command:
firefox -ProfileManager

Hi, I created a new profile like you mentioned. Maps (Map View - Right) and Tree (Device Groups) are not fully functional. Same behaviour as with the original Profile.

1) You may click on the individual Device Groups, but are unable to expand/retract the Groups
2) Map View: Items are not Clickable/Selectable. Right Mouse button brings up no contextual Menu.

Version of Whatup: Whatsup Gold v14.

Hi, Disabling all Add-ons and Plugins did not solve the issue either. Regards, Harald

I'm still unable to reproduce this on the main page of the site. Could you please give us a link to a page with a map that you are having trouble with? I cannot find it on the page.

To strike out plugin/theme issues, I ran Firefox in -safe-mode. This also brought up the same results.

I never got a fix for this Problem and I am not able to provide further information to this Bug, as we have upgraded our WhatsUp Server and the issue is no longer present.

We upgraded to WhatsUp Gold Remote Site Edition v14.3.1 Build 227

On this last version, no bugs are present with Firefox.

Regards,

Harald
