Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-center

Considering how USC puts the emphasis on applications and less on packages it would be nice to divide the search results into different categories. The simplest way would be to have a header with the title "Applications" and another with the title "System Packages" or something similar. When search results are displayed Applications would always come first in the list.

This could be expanded so that theme and fonts are also in their own category and are above System Packages.

The closest to that is on Apple.com when you search. I'm providing a screenshot.

This capability is supported in recent versions of Ubuntu Software Center where applications are always displayed by default, and system packages are hidden. To display system packages, you simply need to click the "Show N Technical Items" link at the bottom left of the Software Center window.

Many thanks!
