Thanks for your interest in Ubuntu and help to make it better.

Can you please try to launch gnome-shell or other clutter-based application (gnome-shell --replace in a GNOME session) to confirm that the issue comes from clutter and not netbook-launcher?

man thanks for your help, but a friend solved it for me he had my laptop I dunno what he did, it's fixed for me now :-/

I would appreciate a working gwibber though, as ubuntu does huge publicity that they have gwibber and social support and such. even on the homepage. but gwibber never ran even once..

Some more information:

gnome-shell works fine, so I don't think it's a clutter-problem.

I'm using the following software-versions:
- libclutter-gtk0.10_0-0.10.4
- libclutter1.0_0-1.2.8
- libclutk0-0.2.8
- liblauncher0-0.1.8
- netbook-launcher-2.1.18

First I was trying to use newer versions of clutk and liblauncher but then netbook-launcher wouldn't build.
