Bug Description

I've imported a .wmv video, applied mirror effect and then rendered it to .avi.
The result was ok except for the length: the video was 5 seconds shorter.

I think it's an issue related to the .wmv format, because the problem didn't show up when i've converted the original video to .avi via ffmpeg prior to use it in openshot.

Sorry for the bad English. I'm Italian. I hope you can understand the report.

I just want to know if before the conversion the video was okay in player ( for the lenght). Have you remarq a difference ? before exporting her.

Do you mean if the video was ok in the openshot's preview player? No, it's not.
I've just run a test: the video is truncated at import time. Even the length field in the "project files" box reports a shorter value than the original length.

Perfect and is it the length of video is the same between the file conversion and the file not conversion ? I want to determine if it is a problem of MLT or of FFMPEG.

I'm not sure i've understood the question. Btw, the just imported video's length is equal to the rendered video's length.

Can't fix, video format support is provided by ffmpeg.
