Bug Description

Binary package hint: pastebinit

it would be good to have some GUI integration in Nautils for example. Maybe there is some kind in nautilus-pastebin that we can borrow to easily fix this issue.

Marking this one as a duplicate of bug 527295.
As you noted, nautilus-pastebin already exists and fixing 527295 will make it possible to share the code between the two projects and let others use the module to write GUIs.

Stéphane, I was thinking about the same move. I held back on it until further decisions were made. But I agree that fixing bug 527295 should auto-fix this one.

It's really a question of time-frame. I feel that merging nautilus-pastebin and pastebinit will require quite a bit of work and time. While I haven't looked my assumption was that steeling ;-) bits about nautilus integration could have been done quickly. Hoping that the merge between the two projects can happen quickly. Otherwise, I guess there two separate issues that could be fixed separately and on a different schedule.
