Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

With a standard installation everything is O.K. Then I installed the german language-pack with the "Sprachunterstützung".

When I now open the extension manager in openoffice and update the extensions (there is only mailmerge.py) I can't close the extension manager, there is no response, I have to kill the application

I deleted my openoffice home folder and reinstalled openoffice packages, same result.

It seems, that it's a problem of compiz. When I deactivate compiz, everything is O.K.

Can't reproduce bug. I'm running a german Lucid, too. Differences to reporter-system:
NonfreeKernelModules: ATI

I also haven't installed the german language pack like the Reporter after installing Lucid, but chosen the german "Sprachunterstützung" ;-) while installing process.

Set from New to Incomplete and will ask the reporter to test with a new user created in his system on advice from pedro_. Thx for that.

It wasn't a bug in the program but a broken user configuration so i set the bug to "invalid". Thx pvillavi again for answering my questions to that.
