Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntu-desktop

There is no driver for rt73 chipset-based cards in Dapper. This makes it very difficult and inconvenient to install such cards.
There are many new cards that use this chipset, and as Dapper is a long-term version, it would be good to support them.
Driver is available from ralink website and is GPLed.

Maybe the kernel source is a more appropriate place for this bug report ...

The driver is there in 6.10, thanks.

But I couldn't scan the network with it.

It's missing a patch in wpa_supplicant to use -Dralink

Last comment says status will be changed to Fix Released, but it's still sitting at Incomplete. Can somebody say why?
