Bug Description

Overall a great distro, I like it a lot... However the splash screens and startup screen needs to be changed to reflect Ichthux instead of Kubuntu.

well, everything but the initial boot screen (gfxboot ?) should be Ichthux. We didn't have time for Beta5 to figure out exactly how to change it but it will surely be in the final Ichthux 6.09. Is that correct?

You are correct, it is just the initial boot screen on the live cd that shows references to Kubuntu, if you install to a hard drive it changes to icthux

We have to look at changing the gfxboot in Ichthux :)
However, I expect people to use the CD only once, and the usplash works fine once installed.

I haven't found what's wrong with the liveCD usplash yet, but I've fixed the gfxboot splash, by adding the attached file to isolinux/ on the CD root. I've also updated the other files in isolinux/ to display "Ichthux" instead of Kubuntu. THis should be in beta6.

Ben Armstrong fixed this bug by updating the initramfs in the chroot and copying it to the liveCD:

(inside the chroot)# update-initramfs -u

(outside the chroot)$ cp edit/initrd.img extract-cd/casper/initrd.gz
