Bug Description

I use ubuntu 10.04 LTS. I have just moved from 8.10. The problem is, it does not shutdown completely. I click the shutdown button, the screen with ubuntu logo comes up and remains. I have waited for 8/9 minutes, but it didn't shut down. I'm not sure about the package that is causing this. from this link [http://art.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=9244282] i have got the idea that it might be caused by libplymouth2.
