Bug Description

Something seems corrupted in my Ubuntu One folder on the server.

There seems to be some left over information in my Ubuntu One folder related to a directory scite_2.11/lexers/themes. First sign, when I delete all files, the dashboard said 0 files, 274kb used, so it seems like some junk left behind. Second sign, if I execute (in ~/Ubuntu One):
mkdir scite_2.11
mkdir lexers
mkdir themes
then go to the web interface, when I get to the themes directory it says "We're sorry. Something's not working correctly. Please try again or check the Ubuntu One status page. If this issue continues, please file a bug. Thanks!"

It seems no matter what I do, I can't get the web interface to go to scite_2.11/lexers/themes, but no problem with other directories.

Only problem is that it scares me having corruption in my Ubuntu One folder. I can use different names to get around the particular problem directory name.

I've deleted all my files in Ubuntu One, I have no notes or comments and still the dashboard says I'm using 274KB, which reinforces that there's some orphaned junk on the server. I've searched and can't find any way to confirm or deny (or fix) this. Thanks

Jeff,
Sorry to hear Ubuntu One is not working as expected. In order to better determine the root cause of you issue could you please attach the logs to this report. Just zip your $HOME/.cache/ubuntuone/log/ folder and attach the zip here.

Additonally what version of Ubuntu One are you using? You can find this by opening a Terminal and running the following command.

dpkg -l ubuntuone-client

I'm changing this to invalid since I can't reproduce it and can't provide any more info.

Changed in ubuntuone-client:
status: New → Invalid
