Unity causes two clocks to appear in normal Gnome session

Bug Description

After installation of Unity on booting back into the normal ubuntu 10.04 gnome session two clocks are displayed in the notifications area

Yes, we don't yet remove the date applet as long as the datetime indicator is not feature complete enough. We'll probably remove it during maverick dev cycle.

Adding indicator-applet and marking invalid for indicator-datetime as the fix will have to be done in indicator-applet.

I could fix this by doing: "sudo aptitude purge unity"
"sudo aptitude remove unity" doesn't fix.

This has been fixed in Maverick. The indicator-applet no longer shows the clock. Thanks!
