Bug Description

Binary package hint: empathy

Empathy does not support RTL at all
The chat logs are not RTL compatible at all and the buddy list as well

I'm using an English locale system so he_IL.utf8 is not my default locale

thanks for taking time to report this bug and helping to make ubuntu better. Can you please change you empathy theme to the default theme and then see if this is still an issue for you

I attached a screen shot to demonstrate the problem

The real thing is that the Ubuntu theme is the only one affected, all the others support Hebrew quite good...
But since Ubuntu is the default it should either be fixed or it shouldn't be the default one...
