Bug Description

Hi.

It would be very useful to have a way of selecting a lot of nodes i a path and then have nodes which is in a set radius of each other join as one node.
I can draw an illustration if needed.

The new node tool for 0.48 will be able to join or connect multiple selected end nodes of (sub-)paths (improved nodes and segment join).
