Bug Description

Clean install of Ubuntu 10.04 with all the updates. When connecting to the internet using pon Ubuntu One will not connect to servers. However, times when I connect using eth0 is works perfectly fine. I'm using pon to connect through a usb-serial adapter to externel modem. (Not sure if need to know but wvdial won't recognize or connect to modem) Once connected though Firfox and other online applications work but Ubuntu One will not. I've heard modemmanager can cause problems so I tried removing it but didn't change anything. I haven't tried anything to do with network manager though. I noticed it first when trying to register my computer onto Ubuntu One. It wouldn't ever bring up a browser to do the intitial registration. It wasn't until I used high speed internet that the browser came up and registered as expected. Now whenever I try to connect it doesn't do anything and just says Disconnected.
