Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
1. Save the attached file
2. Open a gnome-terminal
3. Type `cat typescript`
4. Select lines 1 to 132 (that's the one starting with #19)
5. Choose Edit -> Copy
6. Open e.g. gedit and paste the text
7. You will see only the first 35 lines, the rest has been cut off
I don't think the problem has anything to do with the output being too big. If you open the file in gedit, you can copy and paste it entirely without any problems.

I think this is a duplicate of bug #544358, which fortunately was fixed in upstream six days ago, and waiting to be fixed in ubuntu.
Have you tried selecting all the 132 without holding the shift key?
A workaround is to left-click and scroll with the mouse wheel.
