Define and publicise API

Once things are reasonably stable, it would be nice to publish an API so that other apps can use OSN as a base. I imagine this would look something like the "Google Maps for Android API":http://mobiforge.com/developing/story/using-google-maps-android. It could also be listed on "Open Intents":http://www.openintents.org/en/intentstable . The "geo URI scheme":http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-mayrhofer-geo-uri-00 might also be worth looking at.

As OSN becomes more popular, it is likely that people will start adding many unwanted features to the Issues page, without discussion first. This mechanism aims to prevent this.

Assigned to release 1.4 as a 'place-holder' so we don't forget that it is an issue for the future, but not know. This should be revised as appropriate.
