Bug Description

Using Steve's latest APK, I tried to plan a route. The destination was listed (Glastonbury), so I selected it. I then got the 'force quit' message.

I have attached the logs which I hope may be useful.

Thanks,

Chris.

It looks like there was no location fix when you got back to the map screen, so obviously the program couldn't get the route. The fix would be to store the destination then wait for a GPS fix before trying to get the route.
Do you remember if you were in a tunnel or in another situation where there was no GPS?

Hi, Kieran.

I was walking in an area of good GPS reception, with direct line of site of the sky. I guess it's possible the GPS had dropped-out, though.

Thanks,

Chris.

Kieran,

You suggested "The fix would be to store the destination then wait for a GPS fix before trying to get the route."

Is it possible to implement this? If so, who is best looking at it?

Cheers,

Chris.

Not sure how relevant this is, but I just replicated planning a route to the same place as before, and it worked without any issues, at all.

Fixed in revision 61.
Getting the route is still unreliable but with this fix it can definitely wait for a location before getting the route.
