Bug Description

The need to have an option for toggling whether the map follows the users' location is not user friendly. Even if the user is not moving, GPS variations will mean that the program thinks the location has changed, and the map will be reset to the users' position. Not sure how to get this to work in a good way.

You do not need to toggle between map and follow-mode using the menu.
Google Maps is VERY user friendly:
- you click and you follow the gps,
- you move the map and the follow-mode becomes disabled.

It's not user friendly for me :)
What exactly do you need to click to make it follow the GPS?

At the moment, when I just want to browse the map, I need to check is the follow-mode is activated otherwise the gps keeps centering the map on its position.
So the browse-mode is irrelevant when follow-mode is activated.
I suggest keeping the menu option for changing the mode, but adding an detection for removing follow-mode while browsing.

Patch for switching to 'planning mode' as soon as you scroll anywhere.

Patch added in rev 88. Initially I was thinking to somehow automatically switch back to auto follow mode on some condition, but I think it's better to leave it up to the user than to implement something hard to understand.
