onRestoreInstanceState needs work
routing code uses copy/paste, needs rework

Decided that the similarities between SelectPOIActivity and GetDirectionsActivity are not really that much of a problem and that there's not a nice way to abstract away the details. Might look at this again later so putting at 90% and targetted for 1.0.
