Bug Description

Using Ubuntu, Kubuntu, and Edubuntu on a PowerBook G4 1.5 GHz I get Bluetooth mouse connectivity temporarily.

Overall symptoms:
1 - using 6.10 and 6.06 as well as 5.10 of Ubuntu, and using 6.06 or Kubuntu and Edubuntu . . .

2- Bluetooth mouse (Logitech MX900) is connected and operating on the PowerBook while the system starts up. I see this by moving the mouse around constantly while the boot process is ongoing.

3- At one point in the booting, BEFORE the desktop is seen, Bluetooth connectivity is lost.

4- Interestingly, when I use Edubuntu 6.06, Bluetooth mouse connectivity is still active after the desktop appears, and indeed I can use it for a FEW minutes then connectivity is lost.

Other factors:
a- during this behavior, the PowerBook is not connected to the internet
b- I can do more testing if it is thought to be helpful, but I am pretty sure that I retain Bluetooth connectivity with this same PowerBook using an earlier (probably 5.04) version of Ubuntu.
