Why did you change this as invalid? This bug still occurs even in 12.04 LTS (didn't install 12.10 yet).

There's no menu entry for LMMS, we can launch it from "Run a command" (Alt+F2) and terminal, but can't launch it from the dash.

Sorry, I don't remember why I changed this to invalid. But the bug is present till versión 12.10, so I'm changing its status.
