Bug Description

At first fglrx did not install, I had to install a symlink to get it.
CCC and fglrx are installed, CCC claims it works fine, but it appears twice in my system menu, and :
there's no 3D
no full screen possible
scrolling, moving windows is jerky

so I tried to uninstall and then it wouldn't. it reads in the terminal :

dpkg-divert: erreur de correspondance sur paquet

lors de la suppression de « diversion of /usr/lib/libGL.so.1.2 to /usr/lib/fglrx/libGL.so.1.2.xlibmesa by fglrx »

Looks like a version mismatch between the kernel module and the user-space X driver. The kernel module seems to come from Catalyst 10.4, the user-space driver comes from the fglrx-package included in Ubuntu.

I'd recommend uninstalling all versions of fglrx that you have installed, make sure that dkms doesn't have any old fglrx kernel module versions hanging around and then reinstall the driver, either Catalyst or the driver in Ubuntu, but not both.

well, as I said, fglrx would not uninstall, but in the end, I re-installed through synaptics, and for now it seems to work, I have access to full screen programs again (including streaming video and openarena game). I have not reinstalled CCC.
