Bug Description

There is no way to specify the filename arguments (what are called file.ogg, in.ogg and out.ogg in the manpage) anywhere on the command line other than last. This makes it rather difficult to use the program with xargs where the input to xargs is used to specify comments.

I'd suggest adding --source and --target options that allow you to specify these before the other options, in the same way cp and mv let you specify the target directory with --target-directory.

This is an upstream issue. I was attempting to create a ticket, upstream, in xiph.org's bug-tracking system (http://trac.xiph.org/), but I was having trouble (getting "403 Forbidden" messages when trying to submit bug details). I have emailed the <email address hidden> mailing list to enquire about the problem [of the "403 Forbidden" message]. I'll try to keep this bug report updated appropriately.

I've gone ahead and reported it upstream, and added the Xiph bug tracker to boot.
