Bug Description
I upgraded my Samsung NC20 to Lucid before the Lucid release. It was working OK with Lucid beta and latest openchrome. After the Lucid release, I did an update/upgrade the packages (sudu apt-get update/upgrade. This updated my kernel to 2.6.32-22 among other things. Now after the boot I get the blank screen. I get Grub. But no splash, X or login screen. Just a blank black screen with a cursor on the left top corner. I do not get a terminal window by pressing ctrl+alt+Fx. If I remove the boot options splash/quiet from grub I get to see the text messages scrolling up which finally shows something like
Ext3-fs mounted
Begin /scripts/
DONE
Now the screen goes blank with a green flash once. There are many references to blank screen problem in Lucid. Most of them suggest using nomodeset, xforcevesa, acpi=off etc but none of these or their combination worked for me. Not even to give a terminal window. Recovery option is also not useful. The only thing that worked for me was init=/bin/bash option in grub. This gave me rudimentary console. But it will not allow me to change files as the file system is read only. Is there any other boot switch that I may try to get safe display?

Can you boot into any other kernels in grub?
Also, please run "lspci -vvnn > lspci.txt". It will create a file named lspci.txt in your home directory. Please attach this.
