Bug Description

Binary package hint: coreutils

This bug could be similar to #442272 but I can't tell for sure.
Different locale, i.e sv_SE.UTF-8
Trying to install (not upgrade) 10.04 AMD64 on a machine running 9.10 with /home on raid0 (fakeraid)
and install gets the known bug:
"The installer encountered an unrecoverable error. A desktop session will now be run so that you may investigate the problem or try installing again" (but in Swedish of course)

After idling for a while the Apport tool informs of this crash.

Just one note.
I will not be able to recreate or perform any test except for in the very near future since I will upgrade instead of install. The reason is simply that the installer did not provide for setting up software raid (in contrast to the server installer where it was a part of the partitioning) where I have my home partition.
