nautilus 1:2.30.1-0ubuntu1

When I open two panes in Nautilus and want to show hidden files in one of them, the other one shows its hidden files as well. That is quite unexpected.

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME)

This has been fixed with Nautilus 3.6 which will be available in Ubuntu 13.04. Specifically, Show Hidden Files is not persistent; there is a separate option in Preferences if you want to always show hidden files.
