Bug Description
Binary package hint: indicator-applet
I refer to to panel menue where i can choose different actions as "guest session", "Log Out..." or "Switch From <user>...". Additional users are listed there by their name. If i click on such an entry, a new login dialog appears (such like the normal gdm, but this time only with the previously selected user). After specifying the correct password, the new session for this user starts. If i now choose "Log Out..." from the same panel menue, the screen turns just black.
It is not possible to switch to another tty by pressing CRTL-ALT-Fx. The only way to get out of this situation is to power off.
This problem does not occour if
1. i choose "Switch From <user>"
2. select the desired user in the gdm dialog
3. select "Log Out..."
Now the password is requested for the previous user.
System is an Laptop Acer Extensa 5635Z

Now i think, that this problem is related to the graphic chipset / driver: I am able to switch to a tty blindly, log in there and execute command "sudo halt". So the system is still running, but the screen is "dead".
I cannot reproduce the issue if i run my system in "low graphic mode" (by introducing an error in /etc/X11/ xorg.conf) .
