Bug Description

Hi All,

Besides address, phone and web details for each OSI office, GSA also has a 'comments' field where we remind staff of the special dialing instructions when calling between the core OSI offices. I was updating these dialing instructions and realized that the comments are no longer appearing along with the other office details in the People Directory.
The dialing instructions ('comments') used to appear below the website for each office where we have added them. The information is in GSA, but KARL is not displaying it. If there are technical questions, please be sure to copy Ajo.

Thanks!

-Nat

Reported by Ajo in RT:

I believe comments are sent over in XML file and KARL gets synced when you change the comments.
From my side, I did mot make any changes. I can double check if we are sending comments in XML.
I will get back to you on this.

This is almost certainly a bug in the XSLT that I did.

Chris, I took a look at this and it appears the XSLT is correctly generating the <c:description> node. Which makes the problem downstream. Can you take a look at it, possibly in time for today's rollout?

I'm going to take this one back. I think it *is* in the XSLT. It's been missing since the move from karl.peopledir.

There's a chance that I closed this. We'll have to do some testing on osi-staging and see if /people/osi/new-york-office/ has something like:

If you are calling from the Washington, DC or Budapest offices, dial
directly by extension. If you are calling from the London office, dial
#9, wait for a dial tone, then the extension.

...appearing under the office information, just above the grid.
