Are we adding the version anywhere now? I can't seem to see it.

See lib/lp/code/model/recipebuilder.py, lib/canonical/buildd/sourcepackagerecipe.py and lib/canonical/buildd/buildrecipe -- search for distroseries_name.

But DistroSeries.name is already used there, so I don't understand what this bug is asking.

On dogfood, I saw build versions like "2.2.0~0dev1+5227+132~10.04", and assume 10.04 came from the distroseries. Instead, it came from the version template "2.2.0~0dev1+{revno}+{revno:packaging}~10.04". So this bug is invalid. We need a new bug: "distroseries not being appended".
