Bug Description
While I was using Lernid, everything seemed OK. But I thought it was awfully quiet during the last minutes of a session. Then I fired up xchat, and people were still discussing stuff. Apperently my connection dropped to the IRC server.
If used disconnect and connect, to re-establish the connection and it worked for a bit. But then the connection dropped again (this is probably due to some ubuntu iso's I am seeding :) ). But now I could see it in xchat. Lernid on the other didn't display anything and does not reconnect. Whereas xchat does reconnect upon a connection drop.
So please implement auto-reconnect. :)

As a TCP application, Lernid (actually Telepathy) waits awhile for congestion to clear, and that means that when congestion does clear it can recover what was sent to the user and from the user to the chatroom.
Together they are too patient, however, and if the outage is more than about 4 minutes the connection will never come back. This situation should be handled more intelligently and transparently.
