glow not configurable in Group and Tabbed Windows plugin

When I configure the plugin "Gruppiere und Tabbe Fenster" (I guess it's "Group and Tabbed Windows" in english), the glow can't be swiched off nor be made smaller.
What I did:
* unchecked the checkbox "Aktiviere Glüheffekt" (="activate glow effekt")
* Set "Größe des Glühens" ("size of glow") to 1
