Bug Description
I've just installed Ubuntu Netbook Remix 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) on a Toshiba NB200 (atom based netbook with hard drive) previously having had Karmic installed. It is a clean install. Booting the USB-stick containing the CD-image takes about a minute or less. Booting from the hard drive (once installed) however takes about 5 minutes, most of the time only showing a blinking under score in the top left corner. The system is feels generally a bit slow - switching between user can take up to a minute.

Just installed the latest update (may 7 1000 hours CET) and realised that when moving the mouse (pad on netbook) the update process went faster. Trying that during bootup reduced booting to less than a minute (did not clock). However, after latest update internal mouse does not work.
This is the weirdest bug ever!
