Bug Description
Mint 9 RC1 Live CD boots with blank screen on Dell Latitude E6410 with Nvidia NVS 3100m. None of the virtual consoles are accessable to troubleshoot, but the desktop loads even though you can't see it (I hear the startup sound but no video).
This is the same as 556872 in Ubuntu. Problem exists in Mint as well.
Workaround is to boot with nouveau.modeset=0
