touch-pad multi-finger features do not work

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics

Well I'm using Kubuntu 10.04

The name of the package is xserver-xorg-input-synaptics-1.2.2-1ubuntu4 (amd64)

When going into systemsetting>keyboard&mouse>touchpad>scrolling or tapping

When I set it to the scrolling to twofinger scroll and hit apply the settings I setup do not work

Please include the output of following commands in seperate comments

1. cat /proc/bus/input/devices >devices.txt
2. synclient -l >synclient.txt
