Bug Description

Binary package hint: gwibber

When the Visual Effects are set to NORMAL and I try to quit the Gwibber it's impossible to do it. I have to kill the process, it's the only way I can quit Gwibber. When the Visual Effects are set to NONE everything works fine. This only happens if I check my Facebook account with this application. Only with Twitter works perfectly fine.

gwibber per default will keep running underground if you try to close from his main window, Please could you explain us how are you trying to do this because the only way to close gwibber it's under gwibber menu and then choose "Quit"?

If I choose "Gwibber --> Quit" the application never quits and the window stay forever without working.

If you need anything else, please ask me.

@Dr.Kenobi, here works fine for me, please could you upgrade your gwibber version to latest release 2.30.0.1-0ubuntu3 and check if this issue is still affecting you?, for get this version you have to enable proposed updates for Lucid under your softwares repositories. Thanks.

Kamus, with Gwibber 2.30.0.1-0ubuntu3 I can now quit the application. It's working fine now.

Kamus, as I said before, I have the problem only if I use Facebook. Now I'm only using Gwibber with Twitter, so "I don't have the problem anymore".

@Kenobi, please can you check if this behaviour is still occuring in latest release of gwibber (2.31.91-0ubuntu2) included in Ubuntu Maverick?

Kamus: I have no problems anymore. Gwibber is working fine in 10.04 (2.30.1-0ubuntu1). I can't test it on 10.10. I'm changing the status to invalid. Thank you Kamus.
