Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
On automatic upgrade 9.10 -> 10.4 LTS upgrade manager hangs with 20 minutes to go and repeatedly logging: Found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-
This is on a Dell Vostro 1710 64bit netbook.
Installed Wubi first and after that upgrades. Ubuntu is on sda1 together with Vista.
Haven't had any troubles with the previous ditros and upgrades (except for the Grub2 upgrade...) and was wondering if I should have done something before i started the upgrade. Or maybe should have done it manually with:
sudo apt-get install update-manager and after that sudo update-manager --dist-upgrade
Trying to close the upgrade manager warns me that the system may not work correct anymore.
Really could use some help here, been at it for about 4hrs now and decided to post a new bug. If I am mistaken, please point me in the right direction/to the correct thread for the appropriate fix.
Cheers,
Rob.
