when trying to use k3b under Ubuntu gnome desktop (which worked well for years), k3b aborts and issues the error message

% k3b --datadvd /home

CORRECTION:

I erroneously launched that bug report from the wrong machine, so the above data are invalid, this did not happen on an ubuntu 9.10 machine, but on a freshly upgraded 10.04 ubuntu!
