Bug Description

In the installation of Pidgin smileys, attempt to access the .purple folder, but Pidgin has not yet run. Then all the smileys remain in the ubuntu-4.10-start folder.

Sorry for my English so bad.

Hmmm so Pidgin needs to start at least once for the .purple folder to be created?

I'll try to replicate this in a virtual machine, thanks for reporting this bug!
