Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace
I am using ubuntu on a dual boot machine and I also have an external drive. I was using device notifier to automount my drives on login, and it was perfectly working in karmic. However I upgraded to lucid yesterday and it started to asks for password on login for each of my windows and external partitions. I edited /etc/fstab file so that windows partition is mounted on boot time and it stopped asking password for this partition. Since my external drive is not always plugged in, I don't want to add a line for this drive. Therefore, I tried device notifier as in karmic but in settings, if I check the "automount on login" option, it still asks the password. In karmic, mounting operation used to be a silent process.
