Bug Description
OS: Ubuntu Lucid Lynx 10.04 LTS
SYSTEM: 750 MB RAM, 5 GB swap, Nvidia ION chipset
ISSUE:
Using navit, especially when scrolling the map, increases the memory usage from 300 MB to 95% within seconds and the system starts grabbing the swap then.
Of course, it makes the whole system extremely slow and navit is constantly freezing.
Navit works perfectly on my other system with karmic installed, but in this case it literally eats my RAM.
I got navit from http://
Feel free to ask, if there are any questions.

We don't support packages that aren't included in our repository, especially not daily builds. Can you try to reproduce the issue with the repository version (0.2.0~ svn2897+ dfsg.1- 1build1) please? Thanks.
