recent history doesnt work on new urls entered

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Can you please double-check that this enabled in your settings? The option is in Edit > Preferences > Privacy > Remember my browsing history

Yes it's on "remember".

I did test the "Start Private Browsing" once and i think it was after this the problem started but i'm not 100% sure.
The private browsing is turned off.

Could you please let us know if any errors appear in the Error Console when this happens? To do so, go to Tools > Error Console, clear everything currently in there, reproduce the bug, then see if anything was added to the console. Thanks in advance!

It's happening everytime none of the links i have visited is remembered and it was ok before i tested the "private browsing".

And theres nothing in the error console..

Sometimes Firefox profiles can become corrupt and/or extensions can conflict. Could you please try this with a new profile and see if the problem still exists? You do not need to delete your old profile to test. If this helps, you might want to try to disable all your extensions and re-enable them one by one until you find the problematic one.

You can start the profile manager with the following command:
firefox -ProfileManager

This works. I just deleted the old profile.
Problem solved but this has never happend before.
