Bug Description
Sorry if this is already in Inkscape, my head isn't working very well. (And this is a wishlist item, I've never filed a wishlist item through Launchpad, so sorry if this is in wrong place.)
It'd be nice if Inkscape could - if so desired - show the path's editing handles in the final image, in fully vectorised form. This could be applied like all other live path effects. The handles could use the same style Inkscape currently uses, and the effect could provide some additional styles too.
This might be interesting from purely stylistic point, but I guess Inkscape tutorial writers might appreciate it too. =)

The script extension 'Visualize Path > Draw Handles' draws the path's editing handles. It serves the request to render the handles "in the final image" - an implementation as live path effect would be useful if you need the visualization during the process of creating or editing a design.
