Bug Description

Binary package hint: gdesklets

Hi,

Whilst upgrading gdesklets on Ubuntu 10.04 to gdesklets (0.36.1-4) i received the following warning:

/usr/lib/gdesklets/sensor/Sensor.py:82: SyntaxWarning: assertion is always true, perhaps remove parentheses?
assert(self.__id, "The ID is invalid in the constructor.")

The package installed fine, and didn't produce an error after displaying the warning.

And gdesklets don't running

Thanks.

The SyntaxWarning is probably unrelated to gDesklets not running. This warning will be fixed in the next version of gDesklets (see http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~gdesklets-core-team/gdesklets/0.3x/revision/130).
