Bug Description
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
OpenOffice no longer allow me to export a file as a plaintext *.txt. I wish to save a presentation in this format to rip the text out of the entire presentation.

Thanks for reporting this bug and helping to make Ubuntu and OpenOffice better. Two questions:
What was the last version that had this feature?
Does export as XHTML/HTML a good enough feature for this?
